About Event
Writing Romantic Comedy with Author Fiona Gibson
Where does an author get her ideas from? How does an idea take root and grow into a fully-fledged novel? Fiona Gibson, author of sixteen novels for adults and four for children, shares her tips and insights into the world of creating stories for a living.
Fiona has written several books classed as romantic comedies. She started working on teen magazine, Jackie in Dundee at the age of 17. Fiona now lives in Glasgow where she loves to draw, paint, cook and run. Her recently published novel The Mum Who Had Enough tells of Nate Turner and the consequences he has to face when Sinead, his wife, leaves a note on the table and disappears.
